CRN registration in other provinces

Pressure equipment designs used in British Columbia are registered with Technical Safety BC (TSBC).

British Columbia’s code is 1. It appears after the decimal point of a CRN once the design is registered in British Columbia: first if British Columbia registered it first, later in the order the provinces signed off.

Yes. A design must be registered in each province or territory where the equipment is used. British Columbia is a party to the CRN Reconciliation Agreement, but a design already registered in another province must still be submitted to Technical Safety BC for reciprocal registration. Once British Columbia registers it, the code 1 is added to the CRN.

Yes. We prepare CRN applications for manufacturers in the USA, India and worldwide, with Canadian P.Eng. review and stamp, and submit them to TSBC.
